Product Description StarPort Epoxy Floor Mid Coat is a two-component epoxy coating designed to build film thickness, enhance surface uniformity, and provide a durable intermediate layer within a multi-coat flooring system. It typically comprises Part A: an epoxy resin binder, combined with appropriate pigments, mineral fillers, and rheology-modifying additives, and Part B: an amine-based curing agent that initiates chemical cross-linking after mixing. The cured coating forms a dense, mechanically stable film that improves surface continuity, helps conceal minor substrate irregularities, and provides a suitable foundation for the final top coat. Its formulation can be tailored to improve abrasion resistance, impact tolerance, and adhesion between coating layers.
